Message to all staff at Lubavitch Senior Girls' School, Girls' Primary and Boys' Primary Schools regarding the new Mutli Academy Trust

My name is Mrs Helena Cohen and I am writing to introduce myself as the new Interim CEO of the three schools.  My Interim appointment has been agreed by the Members of the new Multi Academy Trust,  Lord Stuart Polak, Rabbi Pesach Efune, Rabbi Yeremi Angyalfi,  Mr David Arden and myself,  and the new Trustees, Lord Stuart Polak, Rabbi Dubov, Mr Gary Inglis, Mr David Arden, Ms Lada Sullivan, Ms Samantha Coleman and Ms Fiona Bulmer. The Members and Trustees bring a knowledge and understanding of Lubavitch, together with a wealth of experience and skills that they can all contribute to ensure the success of all the schools.

The planned date for the schools to become a Multi Academy Trust is now 1 April 2018.  My role will be to work with the three Head Teachers and the project manager who has been appointed to ensure that the transition process runs smoothly.  The three Head Teachers will continue to run the schools.  I will be spending time in the schools, but not on a regular basis.

One of my key tasks is to ensure that everyone involved in the schools is kept informed on what is happening at each stage of the process and how it will impact on them.  I am in the process of arranging a meeting with the Head Teachers and the project manager so that we can plan the transition process together.  This plan will be shared with you at the earliest opportunity.  I am sure that you may have questions about the MAT and what it will mean for you.  You will have an opportunity to ask all your questions either by email, by speaking to me directly or at any meetings we may hold.

I understand that this is a period of change.  I also know that the Members and Trustees are keen for you all to be supported and to be kept informed at all stages.  We will do our best to achieve this.

For more information please email the school.
