Wednesday 15 March 2023 LSGS defies the tube strike LSGS defies the tube strike with FANTASTIC attendance. Over 90% of girls attended school on the 15th March despite there being a tube strike. Although the majority of girls live out of the area including Golders Green, Edgware, Central London and further afield girls made the effort and travelled approx 2 hours to each way to get to school.

Monday 27 February 2023 FNtI lifted February 2023 One of the highlights of this term and the whole year is the annual LSGS production which was held on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 February in the main hall.

Tuesday 31 May 2022 LSGS CELEBRATES THE QUEEN'S PLATINUM JUBILEE We had a delightful afternoon, to celebrate the Queen's platinum jubilee. There was plenty of cake, bunting, laughter and cheer.

Thursday 12 May 2022 Shmittah Keren Hashviis came to LSGS to speak about shmitah, a mitzvah given to all of us, whether or not we own land in Eretz Yisroel.

Wednesday 11 May 2022 Petchy Year 10 had the opportunity on the 11th May to participate in an interactive public speaking workshop led by expert Hilary Lyons. The all day workshop helped the girls develop their confidence and communication skills. These skills are vital for both school and later life. The session also helps improve emotional wellbeing: the self-confidence to share your perspectives has positive mental health impacts through building a positive self-identity. By talking on subjects that matter to them, each of the girls helped contribute to a better shared understanding of their peers opinions and perspectives. Ms Lyons was impressed by the girls enthusiasm and engagement.

Thursday 5 May 2022 EPQ Earlier this week Year 11 and 12 students as well as parents and senior leaders were privileged to watch an outstanding presentations. These were delivered by our five EPQ students who had been supervised by Dr N Loewenthal who advised them on the skills required for this independent research project.

Sunday 6 March 2022 Rosh Chodesh Adar Beis In honour of Rosh Chodesh Adar, Yaffush Barkan, a celebrated Israeli singer,gavea concert for our school. It wasn'tjust a concert though. From the very first song, the girls were out of theirchairs, singing and dancing together. Girls from Year 7 held hands with girls in Yr 13, as they whirled around the hall to the beat of Yaffush's marvelous voice. Yaffush would segue from popular, beaty hits to the sit-down kumzitz style classics and niggunim. One minuteeveryone would be swayingto "Rebbe, Oh, Rebbe" and the next minutetrying to outperformBeisRivkaCrownHeights with Ishay Ribo's"Sibat HaSibot."

Wednesday 26 January 2022 Training Staff have been giving up their Wednesday evenings to take part in Al Pi Darko, an empowering training and development programme given by the founder & director Mrs Judith Nemeth. the course provides tools in understanding behaviour and learning andteachers are already seeing changes inthe classroom.

Wednesday 12 January 2022 Yud Shevat Yud Shevat at LSGS was marked with a packed, uplifting morning. There was an interactive game to learn about initiatives the Rebbe started. The girls chose 3 mosdos to give extra Tzedakah to for Yud Shevat, including LSGS.
